I'm A Lucky Man

Sure, it may go without saying, but the statement contains a greater degree of truth every day.
More and more often, I'm getting to play music of a certain quality (good, that is) with good friends in good places. How cool is that?
And if you're interested enough in what's going on with me, Patterson Barrett, to be reading this, I'll tell you I'm one kidney lighter than I was on May 16th, 2022. Some people who know a lot more than I do about such things decided it (the kidney) might not be up to snuff, and sure enough, after they took it out and cut it up and had a closer look, they said it had, you know, some cancer in it. So good riddance.
No worries, I was onstage at the Kerrville Folk Festival 3 and a half weeks later, and back to all my normal activities soon after.
So, Lucky Man that I am, I continue to engage in all the stuff that makes me happy, not the least of which is making music with my friends. Check out the calendar page to see where and when and with whom I'm doing that, and as always, thanks for listening!
